Talking about movie maybe is easy, but for me, it means a lot. Your prefer choice share the opinion and the philosophy of your life, you could understand a person by what kind of movies they see. We also learn some important things while we are watching a movie, the thing you will never know by reading a book or talked by an elder. That’s what movie giving us.

This week I was touched by what our member did for me, 查理王bought us a cake, Joseph wrote a two-page studies for our questions this week, and other members also shared their experiences during meeting.

Good job, people!!

Dear Taichung Happiers:

Our old friends can always spring endless surprises on us. Joey has watched the same movie more than 20 times to compose a report; Kevin reads movie reviews to choose high-quality films and goes to the movie every week; Lisa saw the film “The Legend of 1900” last week-- almost all participants have seen it and love it deeply; Jane and her husband’s favorite movie is “Fiddler On The Roof”, and the story has some connections with one of my favorite painter Marc Chagall. Hope and Princess Fiona prefer relaxing movies. Sure. Why not? What high-quality comedies can teach us is much more than ha-ha jokey words.

Movie-making is an exciting adventure and movie directors’ journeys never end anywhere. In this early morning, still having Happiers’ laughter in our ears, we happily found the motivating news: http://collider.com/martin-scorseses-silence-filming-july-2014/ ; http://www.appledaily.com.tw/mobile/article/issueid/20130421/artid/34966672/appname/twapple/secid/9 . How can we not love movies? How can we not be proud of Taiwan? Once again, we would like to remind Happiers that movie metaphors can not only make strong and long-lasting impressions, but also be applied to understanding lots of disciplines:

Movies involve different cultures encourage us to ask ourselves more reflective questions. Joey’s effort is greatly appreciated for introducing us to see movies from a perspective different from Hollywood’s. Moreover, he is our Mr. DHL to deliver his Minutes the fastest on record. And, thank you, our sweet Miss Hope, for the unforgettable candy. Thank you, Lisa, for bringing your wonderful friend to us.

Finally, here comes the reminder of our Speech Contest: Happiers can also consult our 2010 National Champion, Tzong, about his extraordinary experiences--
