This weekend we have 8 members, John, Rio, Coach, Fiona, Jasmine, Jane, Joe and Rachel.
We share our opinion about making good decision, and who made some good decisions. It’s a raining day, but the discussion is still funny and interesting.
Below are some of our discussions, IBM made good decision, because they share the knowledge of PC to other factory, while Apple made bad decision not willing to share Apple Two system to other. So PC is much popular than Apple Two.
Fiona’s boss made a good decision, that he hired Fiona-such a royal, capable employee.
Jane’s family made a good decision to move to Australia. Rio made a good decision to quit his original job in bank, to work in an international trading company, now he earn more and had traveled many countries.
Coach made a good decision to buy an i-Pad. Jasmine can't stop her friend's bad decision to step away from the bad mood. Rachel made a decision to work study in Australia. Joe finds he speak better English than lots of American, because they are from South American.

Dear Taichung Happiers:

One day, a member told me that he “decided” to look for a mentor but he didn’t know how to.

In my humble opinion, a mentor could be an author we have never met in person, an eighteenth-century artist, or even a person whose mistakes can spur our reflection. Sometimes, our mentors could come to us unexpectedly. Recently, I’ve seen the film " Life of Pi” and have watched the following interview twice. This interview is not a film-making class, but a class about decision-making-- as it indicates that in a wild range of contexts, great decision-making process can’t be shaped without vision, belief and faith:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPLkuI80F_w (starts from 0:12:00). (There is no need to worry about the host’s French, because Ang Lee did speak English.) Please listen patiently to see why the Academy Award-winning director had watery eyes.

Our characters and cognition also play important parts in decision-making. We believe the changes we make today will make a difference tomorrow. On every occasion, what’s next is so fascinating. Furthermore, everyone can definitely engage a lot more and create a new dimension for what he/she is passionate about. More importantly, please always remember to relax and refresh ourselves before making major decisions.

Best Wishes,
Jasmine
