What 與How的感嘆句？？

想請問幾個英文問題：
1.一般的文法書上寫感嘆句為:
What + a(n) + N + (S + V)!
How + adj + (S + V)!
所以(1)What beautiful pictures!
(2)How beautiful pictures!
句(1)才是對的，是嗎？

2.請問是不是後面的(S+V)要一起省略?還是S後若為be也可省呢？
(1) How nice a day!
(2) How nice a day is!
(3) How nice a day it is!
請問這三句都對嗎？

1. (1) is correct.
2. 如果硬要選的話，當然要選(2)，但這不太合邏輯，正確點應該是
How nice the day was.
原因1: 你必須說明是某個特定的 day, 所以前面要用定冠詞 the 而不是 a
原因2: 當你要讚嘆某一天的時候，通常已經是過去式了，所以要用was，或是完成式: How nice the day has been.
也有可能是計劃未來的某一天，就有可能是 How nice the day is going to be. 或 How nice the day may be.
