Dear Happiers:

I was really happy to hear everyone’s sharing about their Mother or family story. (It’s a pity I can only heard table one’s sharing. I wish I could have 分身 in other table~ haha) This month belongs to our great Mother. I know everybody has his own problem beyond words with their family, but no matter it is good or bad, family is always our harbor of refuge. Perhaps some people were a bit shocked by what I asked to do in the end of gathering. I just want everyone could get more closed to their Mother and saying something sweet to thank our Mother while other spoke it out as well. In the beginning you might feel weird or embarrassed, after you say it to your Mother, you definitely would feel comfortable and naturally to talk to your Mother on usual. So, don’t be shy, remember to do it now before the next Mother’s day coming.

Dear Taichung Happiers:

We had tears before taking our gathering picture. Don’t worry. No terrorists. Taichung Happiers’ hearts were just too happily kidnapped by the story-sharing of our mothers’ love. Harris is truly a profound gourmet who treated us a feast for the heart. See? After this bitter-sweet sharing, Bill’s eye brows danced in the element of joy.

One day, while reading the story “Forgiveness in Families” (by Alice Munro) in a café, I so wished my tears would have been hijacked on the way to the corners of my eyes. “I had a strange feeling, like I was walking on coals and trying a spell so I wouldn’t get burnt. Forgiveness in families is a mystery to me, how it comes or how it lasts.” These two sentences have clouded and then shined my mind. Time after time, the truth surfaces that forgiveness in families has never been blind at all.

Due to some people’s misreading of the world, sometimes mothers have to overcome their struggles. Nonetheless, mother knows it best that “Everything happens for a reason”.

Still, our laughter always drives mothers to forget and forgive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpzjBc31U7Y Still, we determine to make our mothers be proud of us; they were, they are, and they will.

The compassion of forgiving makes mothers beautiful. Mothers’ love doesn’t end. Stories don’t end.
