A violin teacher and English calligraphy artist, Warren Wang, a guest introduced by our Club founder Happy Jan, speaks English more beautifully than he thinks. It is an exquisite pleasure to learn from his traveling stories. We wholeheartedly appreciate the gift he gave to our Club--a piece of his English calligraphy he crafted at the gathering.
Story. Story. Story. Every business has it; every non-profit organization has it; every humble culture-rich city has it. The host of “Literary Disco” (a praiseworthy literary discussion program) even witnessed a couple unexpectedly rescued their marriage by reading” The Lord of the Rings” together. The greatness of art is its transformation power, and we are glad to see the following storytelling has been turned into another direction—thanks to their supportive parents, we are blessed to learn from the story of this group of angels flying high by being down to earth for charity: http://www.mactv.com.tw/mactv/video.htm?sid=79333&classid=12 (starts from 1:35).
The story of the commercial film presented by this week’s article creates a humanity value to remind people “you are more beautiful than you think”. Yes, we can confidently say we are beautiful, because we have not only the slogan, but also the solution:

Finally, it’s time to relax again. Enjoy this song “What makes you beautiful”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qcj7C2hOzYE (Does this MV remind you of anything? Taichung Happy English Club also has 6 pretty boys who sang beautifully for our 2/23 karaoke outing: Tzong, Kevin, Harris, Enoch, Bill and Joey).

Best Wishes,
Jasmine
