In today’s gathering we had 10 people as usual and Jimes becomes a member in Kaohsiung Happy English Club. In free talk b/c of Rouxian’s job, we learned a lot from her about how to become legal couple in Taiwan, and from Conan’s questions, we also talked further something related to unhappy marriage, such like when the spouse has affairs, what would you do? Having a 15-year-old kid, you would carry on the marriage or get divorced?

In Speaking session, Elaine came to the gathering again since the last time has been a long while ago. She just returned from Thailand where she had her graduation trip with classmates, so she shared with us how she liked this trip, what she did and where she went to and how she felt.

In Topics discussion, we started discussing by dividing two groups to make sure everyone have chance to talk. The article is about “The blood type personality”. In my group, we had everyone talk about their personality and look back if it is matched to their blood type. In conclusion, if two people are the same blood type, they won’t be exactly the same. It’s hard to tell just from the blood type, we also have to look into the horoscope and other factors are also influential, like the education, the family you were born and the environment…etc.

In Happy Time, the outing will be taking place on 4/28 in 自助新村. The gathering will be closed for once. If you are interested in having fun with this club, we are very welcome to see more people join us. For more information as below:

The article introduced the Ice hotel. From the article, we could learn who founded the Ice hotel and when was the first Ice hotel built. You could know the Ice hotel is not only for sleeping but also for enjoying the arts.
Of course, all of our attendees have never stayed in Ice hotel before. Some of us like to try it, but some of us can’t stand the freezing. We also shared our hotel experience, how to choose hotels. It’s interesting to hear our attendees to share their stories.

In the happy time, our president announced we are going to host an outing in 自助新村 next Saturday (4/28), the gathering of next week will be cancelled as well.Our member, Ken, donated NT$500 to encourage student members to join the activity. Anyway, all of members or guests welcome to join the activity. We'll meet you in 海青工商大門 and we'll leave 海青工商 to 自助新村 at 2:30P.M. If you have any questions, you can call Janie or Rouxian. .
