Today's gathering is Christmas Eve as well so that we changed the agenda as the half an hour is topic discussion- “The Traditional Chinese Culture” hosted by Laura. I shared my experience which I have been once long time ago in 鹽水, where fireworks show is well known event in Taiwan. And then the other event I haven't attend, but really like to, is releasing flying lantern in 平溪, luckily we got Joyce who had this kind of experience before. She shared with us the brief meaning of flying lantern. From my question 4, Ken, our new member, proposed his opinions and made his own question that I were very impressed, “We're capitalized and materialized as well. Both humanity and material are needed. We should look back what human being is.” After short break, we started exchanging gift with one another by drawing porker number and greeting each other with the warmest blessing. The last program was with a lot fun playing monopoly game. I have to thank Janie who prepared us game. Finally I wish all Happy English Club friends have a peaceful Christmas Eve and a very happy new year 2012.
