After our latest gathering, I had a discussion with Happy.
Sharing his valuable experience of running a club, he reminded me that our club's target, SOP tops the bill.I totally agree his points. Our club is set to be a high level English club. It unnecessary to shrink our high standard to meet general flavors.

My suggestion is "take easy and relax".

The purpose of most people coming to Happy English Club is just for fun, meeting with old&new friends, and trying to practice English speaking.
The topic could be very close to daily life. Actually the article discussion is only one hour or even less than one hour. The purpose of this should be increasing the time of practicing speak. If the topic is too serious, nobody can provide any idea for this. That's not good for practicing speaking.

However, I think Rock is right. Maybe we can have some outing there to join the activity in Taichung. Or some of you guys can come to Taipei to see how it works.
