Venue:台中市南屯區 大業路182號 Mos Burger二樓
Thanks a lot for your attention.
Questions:
1. Do you like Dutch Directness? What are the positive effects of this directness in Dutch society?
2. Directness, on the other hand, can be regarded as “impoliteness” or even “rudeness”. Would verbal directness be welcome in Taiwanese society? Or accepted in Asian and Western civilizations? Why or why not?
3. Another opposite social skill is “paltering”, which means telling only a part of truth. People palter to show politeness or to defend themselves. How do you think about this gray area between truths and lies? Is it common In Taiwanese society? Is it acceptable to you?

4. No social norms seem to be absolute: morals vary from culture to culture. However, each individual develops his own value system. Do you think there are universal values? What are your core life values? Why are they valuable to you?
