Dear Taichung Happiers,

A young woman who was worried about her habit of biting her fingernails down to the quick was advised by a friend to take up yoga. She did, and soon her fingernails were growing normally. Her friend asked her if yoga had totally cured her nervousness. "No," she replied, "but now I can reach my toe-nails so I bite them instead."

Hey, friends, recently, the weather has been………………, so, beer or yoga? Both, shall we? The relevance of exercise requires no exaggeration, so does the popularity of yoga. Yoga, this ancient discipline, has been the enduringly effective expressway to spiritual and physical enlightenment and interests. While doing exercise, do you feel being somewhere or nowhere in particular? While doing exercise, do you feel your body is your permanent moveable home? Is yoga the art of stillness or movement? The magic power of exercise is as universal as favorite food is personal. Regular practice of yoga has been proven to help peel layers and layers of negative addiction and adversities away; regular practice of yoga bridges us with the authentic love. Authentic love! Authentic love, for ourselves, and for this world, is provided by precise participation, instead of preconceptions. Moreover, is there anything else within yoga drawing every sight line to itself? This upcoming gathering, hosted by Queena, will be a great opportunity for Happiers to cast yoga in a different way. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the Yoga Yoga Park.

What do you think of this 2-year-old yoga teacher?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYQl0YUj-Oc Do you feel affective associations ring truer when you keep moving or stay still? It's hard, especially for us, Asian people, to recognize that prioritizing exercise over anything else is the magic of magic for achieving life/career goals. Yes. The path of success is paved with the benefits of exercise, because exercise is the most powerful and persuasive promoter changing the structure of the brain to boost our memory, concentration, innovation thinking, and time management ability. https://bestself.co/blogs/news/why-exercise-should-be-top-priority-if-you-want-to-achieve-your-goals So, how about yoga in particular? Why yoga? The health interests endorsed by yoga include improving the immune system and sleeping quality, lowering blood pressure, reducing lower-back pain, regulating emotions, curing depression, and so on. https://www.washington.edu/wholeu/2015/09/28/yoga-for-longevity/ Above all, what is yoga supposed to be? According to Award-winning author Barbara Stoler Miller (August 8, 1940 – April 19, 1993): “The aim of yoga is to eliminate the control that material nature exerts over the human spirit, to rediscover through introspective practice what the poet T.S. Eliot called ‘the still point of the turning world.’”

“Enough” (by David Whyte)

Enough. These few words are enough.
If not these words, this breath.
If not this breath, this sitting here.

This opening to life
we have refused
again and again
until now.

Until now.

We are what we breathe. Then, “Does breakfast in bed count as a morning workout?” It is a promptly prospering trend for business leaders around the Globe flowing down into the ocean of meditation for a more pleasant and productive workplace. Seth J. Gillihan, Ph.D., a clinical assistant professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, demonstrates the deep impact of yoga on the resilience of body and mind and the relief of stress and anxiety.
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/think-act-be/201609/7-ways-yoga-lowers-stress-and-anxiety In consequence, it assures us, except for personal well-being, mindfulness practice can also open the access to deep work and productivity by softening stress, magnifying mental focus, and disentangling depression among workers. What is more, yoga is not about exercising your body—yoga is about exercising your breath—yoga is about exercising your compassion. Yes. What is another name of exercise but compassion? Author and editor John Holmes conveys the comprehension: “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” Surely enough, lifting other creatures up is equally important. Now, please check out this yoga event and summarize it with 3 words coming from your inner peace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-azXyThEMM Furthermore, please remember transformation always starts from “small”. Let’s just do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMvrK_8alOE

What does exercise truly mean to you? Exercise makes you healthier, happier, and, most importantly, stronger. Trust every moment you breathe in; trust every moment you breathe out. What is another name of exercise but self-realization? Roman politician and lawyer, Marcus Tullius Cicero (3 January 106 BC – 7 December 43 BC), who is most noted today for his thoughts on humanism and philosophy, simply stressed “It is exercise alone that supports the spirits, and keeps the mind in vigor.” Self-realization roots from self-control. Meditation is self-control; exercise is self-control; self control is more than self-restraint. Self-control= reflection + compassion+ responsible actions. Self-control brings the awareness that we are small, as well as the awareness that small can be big enough for a culture of strong commitment. If exercise is not a mirror for reflecting the light of the calling, what is? Based on a true story, this film 100 Meters makes us aware of vulnerability. Yet, not any single one’s tears can cheapen humanity. Eventually, exercise plays the role of the impressive and imperative turning point; meanwhile, it reveals the remarkable and rigorous version of the unseen things-- vulnerability and humanity always coexists in an interesting and inspiring way. This film will re-locate your heart. No surgery. Don’t worry.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFzabCeVadg As most Happiers haven’t really engaged in yoga, why don’t we just relax? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr9OKWnjaRo And, rise again. What is another name of exercise but connection? The whole practice process supports you to soundly promote your present participation and reconstructs sincerer relationships with yourself, and, with this world. Thereupon, Professor Shauna Shapiro’s mindfulness lecture is a must, on the grounds that positive purposes and practices are fundamental to further apply the connections created by yoga practice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeblJdB2-Vo

Exercise is the river of compassion; exercise is the river of self-realization; exercise is the river of connections. Where the rivers of compassion, realization, and connections meet, humanity sustains. We are only human. Exercise gives the heart a hope of freedom, comfort, and beauty to connect ourselves to the truest experience of love in everyday life. Spiritual teacher and philosopher Nisargadatta Maharaj (17 April 1897 – 8 September 1981), “What kind of Yoga do you want to practice, the Yoga of getting or the Yoga of giving?... One enslaves, the other liberates.” We get love and we give love; through exercise, we can be proud of loving more and giving more. Keep calm and love on. Join us. Thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHZEG3P9tiM
