Questions:
1. Do you agree with the conclusion of this article, “Dreams and jobs don’t necessarily go together.”? Why or why not? Would you like to integrate your interests into your job?

2. Have you enjoyed your current job so far? Have you ever thought about changing it?

3. If you have been staying in a job for 5-10 years, would you like to put in the same amount of effort again to master a new skill?

4. People always said “Following your heart!” or “Trust your intuition.” Would you dare to do what you ”feel right” without thinking twice?

Dear Taichung Happiers,

Dream job! Be Batman, be a cat, be an all-you-can-eat taster, or………………………………….. be a Panda Nanny?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcz7_PZyT-A

Do you search for and stick to your dream job like you search for and stick to your dream lover? What is your definition for “Dream Job”? American essayist, lecturer, and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882) spelled out what success exactly stands for. “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” In whatever way you want to make a difference, “Authenticity” is the accurate birth name of your dream job. To put it another way, landing your dream job requires feeding your mind with your inner voice; landing your dream job requires practicing positivity with fellow believers; landing your dream job requires expressing gratitude by giving more. Besides, as we all know that our host Vicki works with kids, I sincerely hope she can hang on there. Teachers breed the seeds of future dream trees. Can you imagine what you would be like if you haven’t met any inspiring teachers before? Dear brothers and sisters, why not fly high with our host Vicki to plant a kiss on the cheek of the “Future You”?

Advance the intangible. Why do you dream of your dream job? If it’s for money or fame, why do celebrities put on dark glasses to prevent being picked out? Having won 18 Grammy Awards and numerous others, Chinese American cellist Yo-Yo Ma has been indicating his incomparable talent since his early childhood; nevertheless, not until his age of 49 did he feel happy about it. Yo-Yo Ma eventually realized his immense interest is people and music is such a magnificent way to sense people, to study people. Yes, stay awake to dream more. What can you have an enormous impact on?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xknwwPPMuu8 American writer, entrepreneur, and lecturer Mark Twain (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910) stressed the significance of seeing our life purposes:“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Now, take a look at these 6 kids aged from 4 to 13 years old, who have successfully launched mercy missions to aid people in need. http://www.goodnet.org/articles/6-outofthisworld-nonprofits-masterminded-by-kids-list So, close your eyes and answer to the Magic Mirror: what is the most important thing to you? You are made for loving your dream job—be aware of the calling you are born with, even if it’s intangible—be The SunDancer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaytX1wNlCE

Achieve the impossible. Your dream job deserves your lifelong love, unless your dream job………………is not needing one. Having written more than 60 books and taught in Cornell University, Kenneth Blanchard clarifies the difference between interest and commitment. "When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results." Check out how this 7 year-old girl commits to Google. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/google-ceo-sundar-pichai-seven-year-old-girl-letter-job-application-boss-chloe-bridewater-a7582851.html Leaving his job as a 10-year professor, Shane J. Lopez, Ph.D. turned himself into a detective investigating people’s love affair with their jobs. With the perspective, he solved the secret: Love-worthy jobs are made, not found. Furthermore, his 3-word approaches are approved for life designing—test-drive your future; trust your gut; identify your strength; craft your job; find your future-boss. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9b0fi7p3Ts Most importantly, happiness is the only true motivator for every dreamer. Here are some unexpectedly fun tips supported by scientific studies to boost confidence. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/01/how-to-feel-confident_n_5724732.html Again, remember to relax, please. Keep calm and dream on. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BLn0LzRRswM

Appreciate the invaluable. Everything happens for a reason; everything happens for a lesson; everything happens for a profession of faith. Appreciation + Reflection= Actions consistent with your Life Mission. The only one thing holding you back is always fear. No worries, though. Nowadays, everything, including fear, is “hackable”—action is the bravest warrior defeating fears. http://ti.me/2nTjzed How about making conscious choices, you might ask? Well, a great mentor urges us to appreciate the happiness of pursuit and create changes from inside out. https://journal.thriveglobal.com/the-importance-of-mentors-for-landing-your-dream-job-b302e5d02092 (By the way, turn around, please. See Mama’s sweet smile? She is more than a Mentor Master, indeed.) Exploring more and experiencing more are endlessly exciting, and they can mark you in the way of what you would like to be remembered for. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mbd_24G3Ybk

“Self-Employed” (By L.L. Barkat)

She is always asking
for more.
More hours making words,
more days finding
the things she loves—
people, art, a good font.
But she gives me
chocolates.
How can I say
no?

Ask not what your dream job can do for you; ask what you can do for your dream job. Live your dreams and make your life an inspirational, enjoyable, and memorable story to tell. My dream job is like what French-German philosopher and physician Albert Schweitzer (14 January 1875 – 4 September 1965) depicted, “Do something for somebody every day for which you do not get paid.” What’s yours? Make sure everything you do, you do it for your lifelong love, your dream job. Also, together, we can discover more diverse ways to train our talents by tasting The Happy Magic Recipe. Join us. Thanks.
