Please Note:

Thanks a lot for your attention.

Questions:
1. In addition to your current job, what things ate up the most of your free time last year? Why did you spend so much time in these things? Some said “What determines your future is what you do after work.” Do you agree or disagree with the statement like that? What kind of animal can represent what you were in 2016? And tell us the reason why.

2. What is the one thing that you were most proud of in 2016? Or what skill or mind set have you learned in 2016? How do you benefit from these achievements? How do you reward yourself when you achieve your targets?

3. What are your New Year’s Resolutions for 2017? Why do you make these goals? And, how to achieve these goals? Your goals should be a little difficult but not impossible to reach. Do you agree or disagree with the statement like that? Goal setting should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. And these criteria are stated in the acronym S.M.A.R.T. Do your 2017 New Year’s Resolutions meet SMART goal criteria? Why or why not?

4. According to statistics, only 10% of people actually achieve their New Year’s Resolutions. Why is it the case? Do you have any successful stories of New Year’s Resolutions in the past few years? How did you make it?

Dear Taichung Happiers,

Happy New Year! The light lingers!!!
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/live/2016/dec/31/new-years-eve-around-the-world-2016-2017-live

Like flowers lean toward the Sun, let us allow ourselves some time, space, and great rejoicing to welcome every new beginning. See? How exciting it is that the 2017 new books have been waiting for us! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/2017-book-preview_us_585845c3e4b03904470a1efb English writer, poet, and philosopher Gilbert Keith Chesterton (29 May 1874 – 14 June 1936) admonished people to make New Year’s Resolutions. "The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul." So, what will be your “must” for the year 2017? Our former President Kevin Huang will present this year’s first topic and request Happiers’ vision for the New Year. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new soul within every Happier, who is accompanying us pursuing unbreakable persistence and unlimited progress.

What is your invisible tattoo, which changes your and others’ lives? Character is our sheer secret to stick to New Year’s Resolutions; I wish “return to innocence” can be the theme of more people’s New Year’s Resolutions. Why? These kids’ sweet smiles and light-hearted love can tell you more.
http://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/kids-thoughts-on-2016-and-the-new-year-to-come-845256259775 Harvard Business School Professor Robert Steven Kaplan pointed out that reaching our potential is a lifelong learning process. The only path is following the process--create value, place priorities, and revitalize relationships--and being satisfied with what we get. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sY-qwEYjs0&app=desktop Therefore, please remember that you are the true trainer for your powerful performance under particular pressure—whatever your resolutions are. In the Award-winning film Paterson, the magic power of the poet to inspire is not prestige, but the return to himself! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8pGJBgiiDU

From “Return to Innocence” (by Enigma)

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

That's not the beginning of the end
That's the return to yourself
The return to innocence.

Burn the Floor?! Creativity is everything; innocence is the home of creativity. At the very beginning of this new year, I would like to re-read this intriguing book All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.
http://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/56955/all-i-really-need-to-know-i-learned-in-kindergarten-by-robert-fulghum/9780345466396/ Or, what will it be like, if you rewrite this book? “And that's what innocence is. It's simple and trusting like a child, not judgmental and committed to one narrow point of view. If you are locked into a pattern of thinking and responding, your creativity gets blocked. You miss the freshness and magic of the moment. Learn to be innocent again, and that freshness never fades”, said the Pop King Michael Jackson. So, can you recognize how innocence introduces these innovations we are looking forward to in 2017? http://edition.cnn.com/2016/12/30/us/17-things-to-watch-for-in-2017-trnd/ (PS: “Burn the Floor” is the caption of a Tango performance poster, which blew my mind in the State Theatre, Melbourne.)

My endorsement: The Cat at the Wall (by Deborah Ellis). Compassion conquers all; find compassion’s long-missing brother, innocence. Serving as Prime Minister of Sweden from 1996 to 2006, Hans Göran Persson resolved to resume. "Let our New Year's resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word." Compassion makes ordinary people do extraordinary things.
http://abcnews.go.com/Lifestyle/year-boy-allowance-money-donate-books-local-jail/story?id=40225308 Moreover, innocence advances our attentiveness impartially and advises the significance of interdependence--that’s where we see compassion and humanity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2h1Ioug-ss In 2017, carry out a little random act of kindness every day, shall we?

Restore the faith in our true worth and influence. We know we’ve returned to innocence when we value character over fame, when we share creativity out loud (even for free), when we complete a little mission of compassion every day……. Most importantly, when we actually acknowledge that every day is the best day in the year. Happy New Year! Join us. Thanks!!!
