Questions:
1. Share one of following topic with us:
a. Have you ever had a pet? If yes, what kind of pets do you have and how long have you kept them?
b. Have you ever seriously planted and grown herbs in pots? What’s that and why do you want to grow plants?
c. What kind of experience do you have to keep silkworms when you were an elementary student? Is that a wonderful or terrible memory to you?
d. Have you had any electric pet before? Come on, don’t deny your past!
2. Follow up on question 1, what was the most difficult part in these activities? How much money and time have you spelt on these activities? What are the good things when you get involved in these activities? Why do you want to do them?
3. As we know, keeping pets have become popular in recent year. Some pets are being treated like our children or friends and eat like a human. What do you think about it? Would you accept people bring their pets to a restaurant and let them eat around you, pet bird flying around a house or pets walk around in a public area with their master?
4. About 1 in 3 women say pets listen better than their husbands according to a poll in 2010. Following are some of their reason:
"Pets are great because they provide us with unconditional support. They never talk back, never give us the wrong opinion and they are always there for us," she said. "As much as we love our spouses or significant others, sometimes they are not there, sometimes they have their own thoughts about how we should deal with situations. And sometimes, especially when it's a husband or male significant other, they want to solve the problem rather than just listening to the problem."
