20160604, Gathering, Tainan Happy English Club


Gathering on June 4, 2016:
It was a great afternoon gathering at Masa Loft. Today, we had three new comers, Judy, Elly and Rock, coming with the Tainan Happiers, Gary, Grace, Joseph, Amber, Cherry, Becky and Ken, as well as Ellen, the president of Taipei HEC in this meeting. Judy just comes to Tainan for her internship in the Chi-Mei Hospital as a medical student. Rock looks tough for his colorful experience of being a shipman. Elly is Cherry’s colleague working in the Southern Taiwan Science Park. We appreciated for their sharing with rich experiences and stories. Then, we played a game by Cherry and Grace. Everyone wrote down one thing he or she likes and another thing he or she dislikes. After shuffling these sheets of papers blindly, someone picked and unfolded one piece of paper, and everyone guessed who wrote this. The person writing this tried to explain the reason. You can check these likes and dislikes on the pictures.

How do you discover your real purpose in life? For doing this, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught. And try to answer the following questions: Are you currently satisfied with your life? Why or why not? What kind of life purpose do you like, constantly being challenged or stable like a mountain. The more open you are to the process mentioned in the article, and the more you expect it to work, the faster it will work for you. Thanks for Amber’s chosen article and questions, we were inspired a lot from the discussion.

And we had a great news that Becky became an official member of Tainan Happy English Club today. Congratulation, Becky.

Finally, the summer HEC conference will be held in Taipei on June 11. Everyone is welcomed to join this great event.

The next gathering will be on June 18. We are looking forward to seeing you then.
