    Dear Taichung Happiers,

Please summarize this Internet Puppy Star in 3~7 words.

Eating sets us free; shopping sets us free; the Chinese New Year Holiday is freedom. 8) Happy Puppy New Year! What is in your mind when you opened the window this morning? I believe everyone has had a good crazy noisy Chinese New Year holiday. If you indulge yourself with some serious shopping fun during this holiday, is your shopping decision affected by any Wang Hong? Internet celebrities have been dramatically changing the online retailer industry--yes, nothing ever ends in the Internet world. It is an energizing celebration of entertainment, engagement, and attention. And, our host Harris is raising his enquiring eyebrow toward the Internet celebrity phenomenon. So, what kind of shopping experience can wash you over with the sense of comfort and relief? In what way do you think the business should communicate with this world? Except for messaging correctly and precisely, analyzing data, and absorbing and digesting information, what else can be the core competencies of digital marketing? Furthermore, is being an Internet celebrity a sustainable career? The Bell of Internet celebrity phenomenon rings with heartening high spirits—they wouldn’t, if fans didn’t like it. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to join our host Harris in “counting stars” together.

“If men liked shopping, they'd call it research.” Oh là là! Gentlemen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y0Dc1RS5ek When it comes to E-commerce, it seems the sky is the limit; however, the fierce competition is beyond our imagination and expectation. Online businesses differentiate themselves with price, customer service, and interactive experience. Somehow, do these E-Commerce Platforms look different, or not so different to you? https://www.inc.com/bill-carmody/top-5-ecommerce-platforms-for-2017.html How can they breathe out a fresh yet friendly fragrance fusing with a hint of sweetness to discover more opportunities? Irish author/philosopher Charles Handy so enthusiastically emphasized the sustainable secret recipe. ”The companies that survive longest are the ones that work out what they uniquely can give to the world not just growth or money but their excellence, their respect for others, or their ability to make people happy. Some call those things a soul.” There’s a prolonging echo. A prolonging echo. A prolonging echo from Founder and CEO of the online company The Purple Carrot, Andy Levitt--who calls for businesses to make meaning, instead of making money--make meaning to inspire your consumers’ creation, explorations, and celebrations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZimsMAc1AM Implications? Dance with the purple purpose for people’s preference. Dance with the purple purpose to offer options to your target market. Dance with the purple purpose like an art superhero--to “be addicted to self-improvement”--to master the art of improvisation. https://sloanreview.mit.edu/article/learning-the-art-of-business-improvisation/

“I'm the most famous person. The problem is people don't know it yet…………….” Being famous? It’s a strange sense of gain—a sense of gain without an obvious object. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWbw1lkNk5k What do you feel when the temptation as well as the tension for fame bubble up inside? American humorist and newspaper columnist Alexandra Petri once asserted “The only thing more terrifying than the feeling you’re being watched is the feeling that you’re not. Privacy is just an uncomfortable reminder that you’re not a celebrity.” However, Award-winning writer Sheila Kohler addresses what makes us attached to celebrities is the deeper desire to acquire knowledge, fame and fortune by learning the successful factors of celebrities. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/dreaming-freud/201408/why-are-we-fascinated-celebrities While seeing Internet celebrities present their daring deeds, sense of humor, and the identity of the boy/girl next door, we can’t help but keep wondering why these shows are not our school curriculum? Moreover, while the success of an Internet celebrity starts making waves, he/she has to wisely manage the security, credibility, privacy, finances, contracts, technical assessments, and, work/life balance. So, if you are a social media star, can your Mama stop the feeling? https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2018/01/raising-a-social-media-star/550418/ Honestly, how to correct some interior rhythm within the celebrity status? If you are a social media star, would you like to stand for something bigger than cash—to speak for consciousness and compassion? Author Grant McLachlan also reminds us that fame is different from achievement. “To be a celebrity, one must be worth celebrating.” The most respectable value is, above all, to be yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO6WG4x3KNI

Likers, buyers? How is Internet celebrity different from KOL (Key Opinion Leader)? What is the true WOW element in this viral channel? The chef or the puppy? https://www.youtube.com/user/cookingwithdog/featured?disable_polymer=1 According to research results, more than 65% respondents revealed that consumer opinions posted online shine the spark in their eyes. Then, how can brands leverage social media? Internet celebrity endorsement is always able to serve out a WOW with an assurance of bonus………. The enthusiasm of E-commerce—boosted by the direct connection with Internet celebrity—is intoxicating! Sharing their passion and building relationships and communities with their followers, Internet celebrities regard it a big responsibility to be entrusted with fans’ time and investment. https://medium.com/@yiranz6/e-commerce-development-in-internet-celebrity-wanghong-economy-d098c6fa9dba After social media stars implant themselves into the correct contexts, what well wows people is not just the viewing figures, it is all about the consumption culture that has been transformed. In the mean time, let us bear in mind that our greatest Star is the Sun, which transfer energy to amplify our lives. Our greatest Star is the Sun. For all social media stars, Nigerian born pastor, thinker and philosopher Sunday Adelaja can inspire and encourage further considerable confidence with this admonishment. “Every opportunity, every influence and affluence you possess, could not have been for you alone, but to act as a platform to impact a generation.” Our greatest Star is the Sun, so, what make yourself proud shouldn’t be hidden--go above and beyond to provide deepest value. http://www.wetheunicorns.com/features/youtubers-charity-zoella/ By the way, Non-Profit Organizations absolutely need more marketing strategies than Profit Organizations; especially, social culture has played the role of the fundamental clue for marketing researchers to solve the riddle about the complexity of customers.

“The Unfading Beauty” (by Thomas Carew)

HE that loves a rosy cheek,
    Or a coral lip admires,
Or from star-like eyes doth seek
    Fuel to maintain his fires:
As old Time makes these decay,
So his flames must waste away.

But a smooth and steadfast mind,
    Gentle thoughts and calm desires,
    Hearts with equal love combined,
    Kindle never-dying fires.

Where these are not, I despise
Lovely cheeks or lips or eyes.

We’re experiencing waves of emotions at recognizing resources created by Internet celebrities. It’s more than beautiful and sweet to design and distribute what you are passionate for. Nevertheless, the underestimated cost includes enormous patience, perspiration, and perseverance. It is, after all, worthy and rewarding, when you are appreciatively aware and fully enjoy the journey. No worries, our club won't sell you anything but expect Happiers to understand that miracle is sincerely under the Sun. The force will carry us, and the force will grow stronger when we know what we want. No more counting dollars, we’ll, we’ll be counting stars? Looking forward to extracting maximum enjoyment and experiences out of every gathering with all of you. Boys and girls, the stage is ours! Join us. Thanks!!!

    Re: 21080210, Article, Taichung

    Dear Taichung Happiers,

    Q: What's a dog’s favorite kind of pizza?
    A: Pup-peroni

What kind of Happy-Chinese-New-Year language are you speaking? What will be evoked by your definition for “good luck”? Hereby, I would like to give a huge thanks to Happiers for your kind support--our 2017 has been amazing--and we are having a very successful start of 2018. Now, it permits me to take protracted pleasure in introducing our host Yang to our members and new comers. Yang joined our Club because of the learning quality and atmosphere we created together. Afterwards, the new leaf Yang has turned is becoming an internal lecturer of his company and one of our role models on continuous growth. As the air of Chinese New Year is holding us with its intense tune, Yang is leading us to reflect further—for until we do so, we will be empowered no orientation. Culture matters. And, what is the difference between your childhood and latest Chinese New Year holiday experiences? What causes it? Culture matters. How will you tango with this difference? Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, why don’t we examine and determine what will make us blossom and how to focus our time and energy on personal and professional pursuit? Culture matters. Welcome to join us in turning more into ourselves again and venturing to the Year of the Puppy with enormous excitement together.

In puppy we trust. “It’s no coincidence that man’s best friend cannot talk.” No? The hidden meaning of the Chinese animal zodiac, which illustrates the greatly appreciated relationships between human and other animals, is to encourage the intellections of harmony and co-existence. Soon we are having the Year of the Puppy 2018. Do you have a pet? Does the social etiquette dictate you must dress up your puppy? Now, let us meet these ingenious and endearing Chinese dog breeds.
http://www.pawculture.com/breed-basics/breed-lists/8-chinese-dog-breeds/ Being cunning, naughty, and naturally confident, puppies can always attract affluence and chances. https://memoryplush.com/blogs/news/a-fun-read-dogs-bring-good-fortune-according-to-chinese-culture Animals are the best teachers of our emotions. In puppy we trust. Puppy is regarded as our most faithful and bountiful animal friend—especially, the police dogs are more than helpful. Moreover, what do you reckon the wisdom of dogs that we should respect more? American humorist, newspaper columnist, and film actor Robert Benchley (September 15, 1889 – November 21, 1945) sketched it using a sense of mortality. “A dog teaches a boy fidelity, perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down.” In puppy we trust—even we occasionally dance in the dark—the bravest companions are always there. This enlightening story The Night I Followed the Dog includes all the symbols: emotions, compassion, empathy, honesty, and loyalty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHEhJ-EY4u4

What puppy rejoicing steals your heart? Q: What kind of dog chases anything red? A: A Bulldog. The other day, while I was reading in a lovely little café, it took me by surprise that the red round lanterns on the ceiling fit perfectly with the European interior. There was warm and welcoming music in the smile of the color red, even a hint of thrill; the excitement will prolong further; the Chinese painting on the lanterns was telling me something about what it was telling. Vitality. Family gathering. Fortune. For the new year, the desire for everything to be red provides an excellent level of spiritual illumination. Here is the brief history of the color red. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2015/sep/01/why-red-is-the-oldest-colour Red. The desire for everything to be red. Red clothes, red envelopes, red couplets….. The desire for everything to be red creates a variety of moods and messages, while everyone’s house is full of atmosphere. Most importantly, all of these incredibly indulge our appetite for an abundance of traditional Chinese food! http://www.latimes.com/projects/la-fo-chinese-new-year-2017/ Chinese New Year holiday, the most important festival of Chinese culture, forges a closer bond between everyone and their family members. There is no question of actually enjoying eating and talking endlessly. Nevertheless, there is a temptation just to explore more. For this reason, we can celebrate the holiday with family and with our wings. https://www.tripzilla.com/travel-chinese-new-year-holidays-2018/73107 Or? Or, just let some great films quietly ignite our collective enthusiasm for further cognition, implication, and actions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt9UZo32KMk

“Everything I know, I learned from dogs.” (from American author Nora Roberts) At critical moments, culture connections let us know what decisions we have to make and what our options are. Culture says most by saying least. Fortunately, we can also see the values of Chinese culture through the eyes of a puppy: peace and kindness; harmony (respect culture differences); morality. Either you are ready for the Chinese New Year or not, ultimately, whenever we try to cultivate our core competences through cultural influence, "time" is the only thing that matters. However, it’s never too late to make your Chinese New Year’s resolutions. http://time.com/5119144/goal-setting-new-years-resolutions/ (Like “I named my dog "5 miles" so I can tell people I walk 5 miles every day”?) It’s never too late to think of our next move—only if we allow our self-education to envelop us. Once again, reading, like a flood of light, dissolves every single castle of doubt and divergence. Yes, we are book-lovers. And, we want more. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/2xTPv88xR0nt1GVhQZRKt1L/want-to-read-more-books-ten-tips-to-help-you-turn-over-a-new-leaf Last but not least, please allow me to remind Happiers of how empathy and compassion can bring us happiness and well-being—which top most people’s New Year’s resolutions—I firmly believe so. https://qz.com/763289/denmark-has-figured-out-how-to-teach-kids-empathy-and-make-them-happier-adults/

“It is your turn now” (By Rumi)

    It is your turn now,
    you waited, you were patient.
    The time has come,
    for us to polish you.
We will transform your inner pearl
    into a house of fire.
    You’re a gold mine.
    Did you know that,
hidden in the dirt of the earth?
    It is your turn now,
    to be placed in fire.
    Let us cremate your impurities.

Be like a dog with two tails—every hour, every day, every year. The spirit of the New Year is the spirit of happiness; the spirit of the New Year is the spirit of positive changes; the spirit of the New Year is the spirit of collective sound. Serving as the Prime Minister of the UK twice, Winston Churchill (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965) especially encouraged the authenticity of identity. “We are still masters of our fate. We are still captains of our souls.” Besides, only in our big dreams can we recognize the collective value of our happy memories. Wish the beauty of it never fade; wish all of you a pleasant year of puppy filled with passion, prospects, and prosperity. Time to make some noise! Join us. Thanks!!!

Moreover, Stanley were welcome to become an official member today. Everyone shared a lot of interesting experiences and ideas for our free talk. Besides, we played a funny party game hosted by Tammy.

Finally, thanks for Maggie's host, we had an inspiring and interesting discussion about technological upheaval by expecting the unimagined. BTW, we had a dinner together after that. Hope you guys enjoy these!

The next gathering will be on March 3. We are looking forward to seeing you after the Chinese new year.

    Re: 20180203, Article, Taichung

    Dear Taichung Happiers,

What is it that makes success/failure different?

Books are our best friends; success and failure, the second best. In Great Expectations, English writer Charles Dickens (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870), one of the greatest novelist of the Victorian era, simply yet significantly asserted “So, I must be taken as I have been made. The success is not mine, the failure is not mine, but the two together make me.” So, who are you meant to be? How do success and failure actively empower us to change our lives and the world? In short, the value from previous experiences and mistakes is the new opportunity to invent a new interest; the value from previous experiences and mistakes is the new chance to attempt a new approach; the value from previous experiences and mistakes is the new choice to meet a new movement. Mistakes and failures make us stand frozen, while perspective and prospect throw big surprises at us. On some occasions, we dance alone, really, alone, with our vision and dreams. Nevertheless, the smile of the sunshine constantly reassures us with silent messages--an intelligent dose of inspiration. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to join our host Micro in digging deeper into the knowledge and skills for moving toward life more positively.

The meaning of life is an angel settling in disguise of suffering. What were the Fantastic Four disappointed at, and what happened next? Failure is a catalyst for positive change. Suffering, mistakes, and failures are great teachers pushing us to reflect on “What are you here for? What are you going to do in your life?” Because, otherwise, we would focus only on something outside ourselves—fame, power, wealth, etc. American poet, memoirist, and civil rights activist Maya Angelou (April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014) spelled out why the suffering of defeats is inevitable yet invaluable. “You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” The purpose of failure is to search for the meaning of life—the higher quality of humanity; the pursuit of meaning is the initial inspiring force in people. NBA player Jeremy Lin reveals that after everything happening out of his control, it is the deeper sense of purpose that gives him the deeper sense of focus, and he will faithfully perform the promotion of the values he believes in. Here is a heartfelt story from Jeremy Lin.
https://www.facebook.com/jeremylin7/videos/2075352179366046/ Furthermore, how quickly can you bounce back after encountering difficulties or failures? There is so much in the process itself, not always in the outcome. The irreplaceable recipe of resilience is the focus on the lessons from the mistakes or failures, not on the problem. Now, let’s check out how to cook failure into success. https://www.inc.com/lolly-daskal/7-surprising-ways-to-turn-every-failure-into-success.html Most importantly, to master the change we want to achieve, perspective is everything. Perspective precedes enlightenment. The power of prospective and prospect conquers all. Looking forward to this film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cta2aGY7yyI

    Laugh, I tell you
    And you will turn back
    The hands of time.

    Smile, I tell you
    And you will reflect
    The face of the divine.

    Sing, I tell you
And all the angels will sing with you!

    Cry, I tell you
And the reflections found in your pool of tears -
Will remind you of the lessons of today and yesterday
To guide you through the fears of tomorrow.

When life is an exhibition of experiments, and you are the curator....... What to include and what not to include in this exhibition? If the Silver Surfer and Iron Man team up, they wouldn’t just be allies--they'd be alloys? How many “experiments” do you do every day? Thomas A. Edison, the “curator”, interpreted failures differently. “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Also, take a quick peek inside these failure and success experiments by Dyson.
http://nymag.com/vindicated/2016/11/james-dyson-on-5-126-vacuums-that-didnt-work-and-1-that-did.html Whatever your reason to improve your life, however you do to make a difference in the world, whenever a window closed, a door opens for you, for your life purpose, indeed. For sure, every entrepreneurship, every lifestyle, every breath you inhale or exhale, is an experiment. Start every experiment with your why, your life purpose. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRaqe9M2DYc Turn the suffering, the failures into what we will be most thankful for. We should sometimes overestimate ourselves to aim high enough—despite the pain of hardship and failures, focus on what we should do and do a variety of “experiments”, what will re-surface is the positive proof of what we can do. Precisely, it is where the magic always comes out of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1dLGz57KEQ

Do you define success and failure for yourself or for others? "Behind every successful man, you'll find a woman who has nothing to wear." No? Why do you love your big dreams? Be yourself--dreams are powerful things--if you have true love for your big dreams, your faith springs from this love. Trust your gut. Get internal sense. Compose the symphonic variations--listen carefully to what the world is saying, but make decisions by yourself. Take actions until we feel differently. Be brave to be yourself, to believe in yourself, and to re-define your uniqueness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sABv1CWetY Again, life is all about chances and choices. Be yourself. Be courageous to be vulnerable. Be aware of how we say to ourselves to beat self-doubt. Only when we practice integrated thinking and visualize our goals and prospect, can we communicate with ourselves with a growth mindset. https://www.forbes.com/sites/rajeevpeshawaria/2015/07/23/integrated-thinking/#94aa61d2fccf Above all, be a believer. The purpose of failure is to unfold more possibilities and to unlock the hero within everyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyCmCULlgHg

Where there is love, there is luminosity. How deep is your love for your passion and purpose? When the meaning is bigger than the suffering, or the failures, the tired eyes of the Sun rest sweetly on us--the return will be stronger in multiple aspects. Always remember it is love that gifts us the ability to create the world around us. Therefore, give out love, give out light, and give out creative energies as possible as we can. How? “Surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to be and how you want to feel, energies are contagious.” That is what we come here for! Join us. Thanks!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhzi7Shi2H0

    Dear Taichung Happiers,

No kidding, a university with no teachers, no curriculum, and no fees. No worries?

With which color can we write a love letter to our future selves? What promises will be included in that letter? How to translate what we want most in life into reality? A writer, professor, and Nobel Laureate, Elie Wiesel (September 30, 1928 – July 2, 2016) had seen it out of a sense of obligation “to give meaning to life and in doing so to overcome the passive, indifferent life”. What is your sanity? What’s the crystal clear life goal that excites you? Do you enjoy your engagement with the process of pulling off a victory? Life lessons are learned from searching inside ourselves; the key to solving life riddles is to pursue the permitted humility and harmony within ourselves; sophistication and sincerity are the catalyst to bring about more stable access to a healthier and happier relationship with our future selves. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, we feel so honored to present you this decent topic. Welcome to join our host Eric Cheng in showing the determined look in our eyes and taking one step closer to our dream life.

Intercommunication. Communication is the origin of anything possible. Whenever I find the key to success, someone changes the lock?! Intercommunication is to bridge the gap between individual and organizational cultures. Culture always informs the way people examine the world; different personal and organizational cultures solve problems differently. The first step of intercommunication is to observe the context in the cultures. Then, be more adaptive and acquire more feedback to achieve the communication effectiveness. Therefore, why don't we regard this intercommunication process as a teaching-learning process? Create the moment to teach and learn--it can be any moment. Professor Sydney Finkelstein reminds us that when we are open to learn from others, they are more willing to learn from us as well.
https://hbr.org/2018/01/the-best-leaders-are-great-teachers Through the teaching-learning process, intercommunication can eliminate gaps to influence actions and inspire high-level performances. Communication is a magic mirror reflecting our self-awareness. To be more alert while listening, focus on being at the present. Mindfulness training and asking great questions can help us concentrate on the communication to retain necessary information. All right. Take a deep breath before checking out more communication techniques. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAnw168huqA Most importantly, find inspiration from communication. Intercommunication is to figure out the deepest values of each other--communicate to make sure that everybody having different expertise knows what others are doing, and, why. Not until we show real respect to each other's cultures and values can we surely start to serve more. Now, tell me, please, what messages does The Last Supper try to communicate with us? https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2011/apr/12/leo-steinberg-obituary

Imagination. Knowledge is great; imagination is greater. "Keep the dream alive: Hit the snooze button." We apply imagination for creativity to improve the quality of human nature, as imagination encourages us to not put rules to our solutions. In The Little Prince, author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry also endorsed the beauty of moving between the worlds seen and unseen. ”And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” We can never overemphasize the implication of imagination. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wuBEBnCg3c Imagination requires the engagement with the world, and it takes motivation to engage more. Please remember that creativity is contagious--mutual benefits are engendered when we inspire and encourage the culture of creativity and innovation. Again, let’s learn from kids’ curiosity to cultivate our creative capability. Curiosity is the desire to explore and experiment more; our childhood imagination is not a foreign land. Take some time to daydream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F_uHf5aljs Imagination is to create varieties and opportunities. Hereby, please allow me to suggest reading more fiction as a rich recipe for stretching our imaginations. Reading fiction is not hiding ourselves behind the reality—instead, reading fiction is opening eyes to more opportunities; reading fiction is opening the window on the world. After listening to this imaginative story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AexYMp-Xslk , what would you love to share with us? Do you feel the emotion that Kenny has in this story? At what age did you start knowing what you want in life, like Kenny did? Above all, imagination requires the commitment to practice. Fortunately, we can ask questions differently and challenge assumptions to nourish our imagination in our everyday life. Here is an imaginative and creative film COCO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh2szjud4I4

Instinct. "Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else." Life is all about chances and choices. What's the hardest thing you've ever done? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzJb3GIRfLg Trust our instinct, listen to our interior rhythm, to make great choices. Chances and choices. Along the journey, we see changes in many areas. The only haunting question is: should we change our belief? In other words, should we change what we think the most important to us? Instinct defines and re-defines our uniqueness—instinct and experiences have shaped what we are. The voice in our hearts is raised by the efficient encounters of our knowledge and experiences, and it entails our advanced adventures. Chances and choices. Instinct is what constantly grows our confidence; the instinct for opportunity is the lost art of problem-solving. America's greatest inventor Thomas A. Edison (February 11, 1847 – October 18, 1931) admonished us that “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Do you trust your intuition? Why? What deep messages and meanings are imparted by our intuition? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FfypyFsGhk How does our faith affect our instinct? Can the trusted instinct transform our weakness into positive character traits? Chances and choices. To smile in the instinct for contentment and bliss, understand and be honest with ourselves about what we do best, and find ways to do more of that every day.

From “Be Thou My Vision” (by Eleanor Henrietta Hull)

    King of my vision
    O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me
    Save that Thou art
    Thou my best thought
    By day or by night
    Or waking or sleeping
    Thy presence my light
    Or waking or sleeping
    Thy presence my light

You are already awesome; take every opportunity to be more awesome. Above all, what does success truly mean? Facing patterns formed and re-formed, success defined and re-defined, American author and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar’s statement sounds extremely intriguing. “Success is having a home and people to love who love you in return.” Yes. Success is not only building wealth and fame. Success is a way of being--a way of tying the bond--success is also about building the “home”, the community, and the society. Together, let us embrace the sky full of stars, shall we? Join us. Thanks!!!
